Good Faith Estimate

If you do not have health insurance or choose not to use it, you have the right to receive a written Good Faith Estimate of expected charges for non-emergency care when you schedule care or request an estimate.

If your bill from a provider or facility is at least $400 more than its Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Keep a copy of your estimate.
