Meet Dr. Praksha Butala, OD

Dr. Praksha Butala received her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometry in 2020. She enjoys all aspects of primary eye care and is passionate about helping patients maintain healthy vision. She provides comprehensive eye examinations and contact lens fittings, with an interest in caring for patients' vision and overall eye health.
As an optometrist, Dr. Butala values getting to know her patients and understanding their individual needs. She believes in taking the time to explain eye health findings, answer questions, and ensure patients understand their options. She strives to make each visit a comfortable experience where patients feel informed and confident in their care.
During her free time, Dr. Butala enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants, and spending time with her family. She looks forward to welcoming patients to Wharton Eyecare and helping them care for their vision for years to come.
